NETGRAM IMAGE WATERMARK TOOL
Project Overview
Tool is a web-based image processing application developed by NetGram Labs for applying watermarks to multiple images at once.
The goal was to simplify batch watermarking. Users can upload multiple images, add a watermark, configure the available output settings, and process the selected images through a single workflow.
The tool supports and image formats, making it suitable for preparing image batches for different digital content requirements.
Project Details
PROJECT PURPOSE
Applying the same watermark to a large number of images manually can be repetitive and time-consuming.
The tool was developed to simplify this process by allowing multiple images to be processed together.
Instead of processing each image individually, users can select multiple images, upload a watermark, configure the available settings, and apply the watermark across the selected images in one workflow.
The workflow is basically:
Main Features
Multiple Image Upload
Users can upload multiple images in a single session instead of processing them one by one.
The tool supports:
- Square images —
- Landscape images —
This makes it useful for processing batches of images prepared for different content formats.
Batch Watermarking
The core feature of the application is batch watermarking.
Once multiple images and a watermark are uploaded, the same watermark can be applied to the selected images through a single action.
For example:
Image 1 ─┐
Image 2 ─┤
Image 3 ─┼──> Apply Watermark ──> Processed Images
Image 4 ─┤
Image 5 ─┘
This removes the need to repeat the same editing process for every image.
Watermark Upload
The watermark is uploaded separately from the main images.
Once uploaded, the same watermark can be applied across all selected images.
This is useful when processing a batch of images that needs the same logo, brand mark, or watermark.
OUTPUT IMAGE FORMATS
These options give users control over the final image format based on how the processed images will be used.
This gives users some control over the final output depending on where the images will be used.
OUTPUT IMAGE QUALITY
Users can choose the output quality according to their requirement.
Available options include:
This allows users to balance output file size and image quality according to their requirements.
OUTPUT SIZE
The tool also provides different export-size options:
This is useful when the original image is larger than what is actually required.
For example, a user can create smaller versions for thumbnails instead of exporting every image at its original size.
IMAGE WATERMARKING WORKFLOW
The application uses a simple workflow focused specifically on batch watermarking rather than providing a full image-editing interface.
Step 1 — Upload Images
Select one or multiple images that need to be processed.
Step 2 — Upload Watermark
Upload the watermark that should be added to the images.
Step 3 — Choose Output Settings
Select:
- Image format
- Image quality
- Export size
Step 4 — Apply Watermark
Click the processing action and apply the same watermark to the selected images.
BATCH IMAGE PROCESSING
The application performs the watermarking process directly through the web interface.
Users can process multiple selected images without opening each image in a separate editing application.
The tool is focused on one specific task — batch watermarking — rather than trying to function as a complete image editor.
PRACTICAL USE CASES
The tool can be useful for different types of content work, for example:
- Adding a company logo to images
- Preparing images for articles
- Watermarking social media images
- Processing multiple product images
- Preparing branded content
- Creating thumbnail versions
- Converting processed images into different formats
DESIGN & USER EXPERIENCE
The interface was designed around the primary task: uploading images, configuring a watermark, and processing the selected images.
Since the application has a focused purpose, the interface avoids unnecessary editing controls and keeps the main workflow easy to follow.
The main output settings are grouped together so users can select the format, quality, and export size before processing the images.
The goal was to make the watermarking workflow straightforward for users who do not regularly work with image-editing software.
DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGES
Processing Multiple Images
Processing a single image is relatively simple, but batch processing needs to handle multiple files while keeping the workflow consistent.
The application was structured around selecting the required images first and then processing them together.
Maintaining Image Quality
Different users need different output sizes and quality levels.
That's why the tool provides separate controls for format, quality and export size instead of producing only one fixed output.
Supporting Different Image Formats
The tool needs to work with common image formats while also giving users control over the format of the final output.
The export options include WEBP, JPEG and PNG.
DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
The project was developed around the practical workflow required to process multiple images with the same watermark.
The main steps were:
- Create the image upload interface
- Add support for multiple image selection
- Add watermark upload
- Add image format selection
- Add quality controls
- Add export-size options
- Implement batch watermark processing
- Handle the generated output
- Test different image sizes and formats
- Deploy the application
